The Senior Technician brings technical expertise and leadership to contribute to the realization of innovative geophysical and geotechnical studies. He/she plays a key role in data acquisition and analysis in the field, as well as in mentoring junior technicians.

Main Responsibilities:

- Conduct geotechnical instrumentation and field data acquisition.
- Participate in geophysical and geotechnical studies (surveys, inspections, soil tests).
- Plan and prepare interventions with project managers.
- Monitor sites and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Process, analyze, and present collected data.
- Contribute to the writing of technical reports.
- Maintain and calibrate equipment.
- Mentor and support junior technicians in the field.
- Apply safety and quality standards in the field.

Requirements

Desired Profile:

Degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.

5 to 8 years of experience in civil engineering or applied geophysics.

Proficiency in field tools and specialized software.

Leadership, autonomy, and teamwork spirit.

Enjoyment of fieldwork in varied outdoor conditions.

Available and flexible for long-term field campaigns and open-ended assignments, as required.

Fluency in French and English due to frequent communication with clients from English-speaking provinces of Canada.
