Your Role

As Team Leader – Geophysicist, you will supervise geophysical operations in the field and ensure the quality, safety, and performance of the assignments entrusted to you. A true pillar between technicians, engineers, and clients, you will actively contribute to the success of subsurface exploration and imaging projects.

Recognized expert in applied geophysics, responsible for complex projects and mentoring the team.

Main Responsibilities:

- Design and plan complex and varied geophysical campaigns.
- Supervise and participate in data collection and processing.
- Conduct in-depth analyses and interpret results.
- Produce scientific reports and strategic recommendations.
- Advise clients and management on suitable solutions.
- Train and mentor junior team members.
- Ensure technical quality and adherence to budgets/timelines.
- Apply safety and quality standards in the field.

Requirements

Profile sought:

University degree in geophysics, geology, or equivalent.

10+ years of experience in applied geophysics (mining and civil).

Strong technical expertise and strategic vision.

Recognized for project management skills and client relations.

Skills in mentoring and communication.

Fluency in French and English, due to frequent communications with clients from English-speaking provinces of Canada.
